12 Apr LTA ‘circuit breaker’ news! 4 ways LTA is giving support for vehicle owners.
To support owners to abide by the elevated set of safe distancing measures, LTA will make the following adjustments during ‘circuit’ break’ period;
1. Private car inspection will be deferred prior to road tax renewal. You can proceed to renew your road tax only ONLINE with valid insurance coverage.
2. Off peak car owners do not need to go for seal inspection.
3. Deregistered vehicles will be given an additional 2 months for disposing their vehicles thru scrapyards and export processing zones.
4. Commercial vehicles due to de-registered will be given an additional 2 months to register their replacement vehicle under ETS.
Vehicle owners are still required to ensure their vehicles have valid road tax and motor insurance coverage.
